Learn the essentials of gourmet raw cake making.
Showcase your inner cake diva with a finer understanding of a range of raw cake making techniques. Appreciate the techniques that allow you to have your cake and eat it. Workshop includes several cake making presentations, essential ingredients, making your own activated flours, icing, decorating techniques and more.
The day begins at 11am with an introduction to raw foods and food preparation techniques by Stephanie, and an overview of what ingredients make the best raw cakes in the world. There follows a range of demonstrations of cake options, making cake bases, cupcakes, mousses and fillings.
Stephanie will demonstrate making ganache, fermented cheesecakes, the finest raw salted caramel recipe in the world, gourmet fillings and more. While this is essentially a demonstration class there will be plenty of opportunity to get involved, taste the cakes and take samples home.
The class includes an afternoon tea of raw cakes and herbal drinks.
