Chocolate Mousse recipe to get excited about!
Very excited to be featured in Best Daily Magazine’s Diet section with one of my new recipes for Chocolate Mousse!

If you’re cutting out refined sugar, these tasty treats won’t make you feel like you’re missing out! Go check out their page – there are some lovely recipes in there!
My recipe is made with all natural ingredients – and that includes natural sugars. Sugar-free in this recipe is referring to all processed and refined sugars, which I have replaced with natural alternatives which are still high in GI. I cannot vouch for the other recipes in the article.
All you need is:
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/3 cup filtered water
- ½ cup honey/agave/maple syrup
- ½ cup almond flour
- 1 tspn vanilla extract
- ½ cup cacao powder
- ½ cup coconut oil (warmed)
Blend all the ingredients in a blender. Do not use cold water as this could make the coconut oil go lumpy. Warm the coconut oil gently by sitting the pot in a hot pan of water. Leave the mousse to sit in the fridge until ready. You can serve with berries and raspberry sauce.
